La Lita Residence
This historic house, originally built in 1933 by ‘Grandma Langlo’, was one of the first homes on the hill, surrounded by her sprawling citrus orchard. While the original structure boasted excellent bones, a quirky 1960s addition at the back disrupted its flow. In our remodel, spanning nine months, we redesigned the floor layout and incorporated windows that harmonized with the original steel frames, seamlessly integrating the addition into the historic fabric of the home.
The result is a vibrant, sunlit residence with charming nooks and crannies throughout. Drawing inspiration from 1930s Spanish architecture, the finished product radiates the timeless elegance of its era, enriched by modern upgrades.
