De La Guerra Residence
This project was a delight from start to finish! With a tight timeline and a complete 'down to the studs' remodel ahead of us, we were determined to create a perfect home for our clients before they relocated from the East Coast. The original 1940s house exuded charm and potential, making it an exciting canvas for our team. Our goal was to preserve its character while modernizing the interior, which included strategic floor plan adjustments to enhance functionality and relocating a few of the original windows to capture stunning views more effectively. We also created a versatile home office that doubles as a cozy TV room. In hallways, we added small built-in storage closets and drawers, utilizing every single space.
Despite its modest size, the home now seamlessly connects to a serene back patio through French doors, ideal for entertaining guests. The breathtaking vistas of the ocean and harbor serve as the ultimate finishing touch. This was such a fun project to work on; we didn’t want it to end!
