Morada Residence
This project brought new life to the 1960 Paul Greene-designed home, blending the charm of mid-century modern with contemporary livability for a growing young family. With a nod to authenticity, we embarked on a complete renovation, stripping the house down to its studs to create a space that felt both nostalgic and fresh.
We reimagined the floor plan, moving walls to improve flow and maximize every inch of space. The design infused playful modern touches while maintaining the integrity of mid-century aesthetics.
The heart of the home was designed to accommodate both everyday family life and lively gatherings. Opening up the rear of the house, we connected indoor living spaces with a newly built pool and vibrant vegetable gardens, offering a tranquil retreat for all seasons.
The result is a revitalized mid-century gem that balances timeless design with the practical needs of a modern family, where relaxation and entertaining effortlessly coexist.

“Jenny helped design my home. She is a great balance between classic and modern design. She is open, kind and listens well to what your vision is and executes. Having grown up in Santa Barbara, she has a great knowledge of who to work with and has a high expectation of craftsmanship. We have loved working with her!”
