About Jenny
Jennifer Klein’s passion for interior design began in childhood, influenced by her father’s legacy in crafting remarkable residences in Santa Barbara and the Santa Ynez Valley. Immersed in the family business, Jennifer earned her B.A. in Interior Design complemented by a transformative year in Paris, delving into art history and architecture.
Working under two local Santa Barbara designers, Jennifer honed her skills in high-end residential and hospitality design.
Her career took a surprising turn when, in 1999, an irresistible project beckoned her to New York City. In the heart of Manhattan, Jennifer managed a groundbreaking project at WorkSpace 2000, a historic townhouse once owned by Abraham Lincoln’s granddaughter. With a deep respect for its historical significance, Jennifer helped transform the space into a cutting-edge office hub, incorporating innovative green building practices. This endeavor became a showcase for sustainability, housing a green building foundation.
Returning to Santa Barbara in 2001, Jennifer has continued her work as Jennifer Archer Interior Design (JAID), where she has crafted diverse projects in California and Idaho. Specializing in full-service interior design for new residential construction and extensive renovations.. Guided by collaboration and a commitment to her clients’ visions, Jennifer creates spaces that function beautifully and contribute positively to the world through sustainable and enriching design.
